BlueHorde ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our AI services at https://bluehorde.com. By using our Services, you agree to the practices described below.

📋 1. Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of BlueHorde's website, APIs, AI tools, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It describes our practices regarding data collection, processing, and sharing. We are committed to transparency, especially given the unique privacy considerations of generative AI technologies.

Please read this policy together with our Terms of Use and AI Ethics Addendum. If you do not agree with our privacy practices, please discontinue use of the Services.

📊 2. Information We Collect

We collect several categories of information to provide and improve our AI Services. This includes information you provide directly, data collected automatically, and information from third parties.

  • Account Data: Name, email address, username, password, organization details, and billing information when you register.
  • AI Inputs & Prompts: Text, images, files, or other content you submit to our AI models ("Input"). This may contain personal data if you choose to include it.
  • Communications: Messages sent to our support team, feedback, survey responses.
  • Payment Information: Processed securely by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full credit card details.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Features used, AI model interactions, API calls, timestamps, session duration, error logs.
  • Device & Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, device identifiers.
  • Cookies & Similar Technologies: We use essential cookies for functionality, analytics cookies (with consent), and local storage. See Section 9 for Cookie details.

2.3 AI Training & Improvement Data

We may use anonymized or aggregated Input and Output data to improve our AI models, safety systems, and service quality. We implement technical safeguards to minimize inclusion of personal data in training datasets. You may opt out of having your data used for model training by adjusting your account settings (where available) or contacting us.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: AI Input Content
Please do not submit sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, health data, financial account numbers) in your prompts unless absolutely necessary. While we employ security measures, AI processing involves inherent risks. You are responsible for the content you input.

🎯 3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  • Providing AI Services: Processing your prompts, generating outputs, maintaining account access, and delivering core functionality.
  • Service Improvement & Research: Analyzing usage patterns, training and fine-tuning AI models, developing new features, and conducting safety research.
  • Security & Compliance: Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, security incidents, and enforcing our Terms of Use.
  • Communications: Sending service announcements, security alerts, support responses, and (with consent) newsletters or promotional offers.
  • Legal Obligations: Complying with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.

We do not use your Input or Outputs to create profiles for advertising purposes or sell your personal data to third parties.

  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or governmental authority, we may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or protect rights/safety.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

We do not sell personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  • Account Information: Retained while your account is active. Upon deletion request, we remove or anonymize data within 30-60 days, except for backups and legal holds.
  • AI Inputs & Outputs: May be retained for a limited period (typically 30-90 days) for abuse monitoring and service improvement. Anonymized data may be kept longer for research.
  • Usage Logs: Retained for up to 24 months for security and analytics.

You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting privacy@bluehorde.com. See Section 8 for your rights.

🔐 6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication where available.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable laws.

BlueHorde is based in the United States, and our Services are hosted primarily in the U.S. If you access our Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

8. Your Privacy Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access & Portability: Request a copy of your personal data in a structured format.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion (Right to Erasure): Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Objection & Restriction: Object to processing or request restriction under certain circumstances.
  • Opt-Out of Model Training: You may opt out of having your Input/Outputs used for AI training. This setting can be managed in your account dashboard.
  • Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise these rights, email privacy@bluehorde.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject. We may verify your identity before processing requests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

CCPA/CPRA Notice (California Residents)

California law grants additional rights including knowing categories of personal information collected and sold/shared. We do not sell personal information. For details or to submit a request, please contact us.
